The 'Oma'o Home accommodations are the rooms that lead in the greening of the Pacific Beach Hotel, with installed resource conserving lighting, bathroom fixtures, and window tinting. The personal care products and single-use items provided in the 'Oma'o Home meet or exceed industry green standards. Currently, the Pacific Beach Hotel is researching furnishings and fabrics that are recycled, or made with lo eco-impact processes from sustainable raw materials. Oma'o Home is also where housekeeping products are evaluated, recycling strategies are implemented, and laundry options are tested ~ all the back-of-the-house operations that make green a core commitment. As greener techniques and technologies evolve, they will be reviewing and using the best of them, large and small, in Oma'o Home. Ultimately, the goal is simple and achievable ~ Hospitality for both people and planet.
